Ranbir Singh Gangwa represents a leadership style in Haryana politics where simplicity, honesty, and direct communication with the people are the greatest strengths. His life demonstrates that with pure intentions and a spirit of service, one can achieve extraordinary heights even from an ordinary background.

Even today, he considers himself the son of a common farmer, and this sentiment keeps him deeply connected to the people. Despite being in power, his behavior and lifestyle remain similar to that of ordinary citizens, which makes him an acceptable and respected leader across all sections of society.

Ranbir Singh Gangwa’s life is an inspiring example of how one can rise from a simple farmer’s family to reach the heights of politics through public service, integrity, and dedication to the people. Emotionally connected with people from an early age, Gangwa Ji made it his life’s mission to address the real issues faced by society, especially the rural population.

His journey of service began on March 4, 1964, in Village Gangwa, District Hisar, Haryana. After completing his early education in his village, he pursued higher education in Hisar and gradually moved towards social work alongside farming.

His political journey began in the year 2000 when he joined the Indian National Lok Dal (INLD) to strengthen his commitment to public service. In his very first election, he won the Zila Parishad (District Council) election, clearly establishing that public trust is the foundation of politics. He continued his journey of public service and, in 2005, was re-elected and became the Vice Chairman of the Zila Parishad, where he promoted development and welfare initiatives at the local level.

Recognizing his political abilities and dedication to public service, he was elected as a Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha) in 2010. During his tenure, he played an important role in providing basic infrastructure such as electricity, roads, water, and essential facilities to villages and rural settlements, giving a new direction to rural development.

In 2014, he won the Legislative Assembly election from the Nalwa constituency for the first time. Even while serving in the opposition, he strongly raised the voice of the people in the Assembly and ensured the implementation of several development works in his area, further strengthening public trust.

In 2019, considering his political vision and dedication, he joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and again won from Nalwa, subsequently being appointed as the Deputy Speaker of the Assembly. Under his leadership, the functioning of the Assembly reflected renewed energy and a clear commitment to transforming public expectations into legislative action.

In 2024, the Bharatiya Janata Party fielded Gangwa Ji from the Barwala Assembly constituency — a region where the party had never won before. Owing to his simple, gentle, and approachable personality, he received overwhelming public support and secured a decisive victory, emerging as a prominent leader of the backward classes in the region.

Today, Shri Ranbir Singh Gangwa serves as the Minister of Public Works Department and Public Health Engineering Department in the Haryana Government. He is among those leaders who have accepted the dignity of power and position as a powerful opportunity to serve the people.

His daily routine reflects that he lives politics as a way of life — every morning at 6 a.m., he sits under a tree in front of his house, drinks tea with local residents, listens to their concerns, and strives for quick solutions. This commitment to public service, deep connection with the people, and consistent trust have made him a popular, influential, and exemplary leader among the masses.
